Pros Only four 3/4 inch screws needed to install. Window can be closed behind the fan.
Cons Not as tight of seal as I'd like. Plastic construction.

I was interested in a whole house fan, but didn't want to go the in-ceiling route because I have blown in insulation, would need to increase the ventilation in the attic, and didn't really have a good power source. Also, I was a bit concerned about winter issues.
