About The Brand Ralph Lauren is an American fashion designer who in 1967 founded a company for clothing, accessories, home decor, and fragrances. He is best known for his Polo line, which expanded through the years to several brands including Black Label, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Ralph by Ralph Lauren. In partnership with L’Oreal Ralph Lauren introduced its fragrances, starting with the iconic and famous scent Polo and the classic perfume Lauren in 1978. Over the years the company has been offering very successful, luxury fragrances both for women and men, adding some artistic and chic design to the bottles. Giorgio Armani is an Italian fashion designer, who formed his own company in 1975. The same year he presented his first collection of men’s ready-to-wear as well as a women’s line for the same season. The brand successfully expanded over the years offering a variety of products – from accessories to beauty products and fragrances, gradually winning recognition as a byword for luxury and class. In the early 1980s the company signed a contract with L'Oreal and released Armani for women in 1982, followed by Armani for men in 1984, both adding a scented signature to the brand.
