We purchased these for my father who uses them primarily when he mows the lawn. I have an active noise cancelling set which I don't like for several reasons. Pros Blocks out external sound; attractive; relatively inexpensive.
Cons Heavy; feels like wearing ear suction cups. Good but not excellent sound quality.
Recommended it? Yes

The Koss QZ5 Noise Reduction headphones work almost too well. I bought them for office use, but with a moderate music volume I find external noise is blocked to the point I can't hear my own phone ring. So I'll be taking these home and buying less "isolating" headphones for use at work. Read full review »
