Love it! Great Price for a Great Unit with Great Functions!

Pros: Quiet at low fan speed, lots of functions
Cons: ugly, but they all are!
The Bottom Line: If you can get the same deal at Lowe's you can't beat this unit for the price.

Review: First let me say that I have the Frigidaire FAA 06_7_P7A. Frigidaire has created a "special" model number just for Lowe's, which makes price comparisons impossible of course, but the specs are identical.

Good value for the price

Pros: effective cooling, quiet on low setting, air purifier included
Cons: installation not ideal for our windows, a few slushing/ pinging sounds
The Bottom Line: Happy with the product; it's a good value for the price. Would recommend, especially if you have a small budget and need cooling relief.

The unit is rather heavy, around 50 lbs. I highly recommend that two people install the unit. We had a few difficulties with the installation because we do not have simple double hung windows; like many older apartment...
