Very Nice Cooktop, Appalling Repair Cost

Pros: Works very well for intended purpose
Cons: Lord help you if it ever needs repair
The Bottom Line: A qualified buy, as long as the prospective purchaser is aware of the financial risk he or she is taking if repair is required.

Review: We've been using this cooktop for a bit over 4 years now. In general, it serves its purpose quite well. I particularly like the lowest setting on the smallest burner, which is perfect for simmering or cooking rice without worry of boilover.

Defective Cast Iron Grates

Pros: It is successful in heating and cooking food.
Cons: The rubber feet fall off the grates almost immediately. 
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: Kitchenaid either unintentional sells a deficient product with poor customer service when it comes to trying to rectifying a simple problem or worse intentional gouges customers.
