The Isuzu Amigo receives substantial cosmetic changes for the 2000 model year. Exterior styling is enhanced with new front and rear bumpers, a redesigned headlight combination, and a restyled radiator grille. Interior materials have been upgraded, and the seats, instrument panel, and gauges are all new for 2000 as well. Powertrain choices include a 2.2 Liter, 130 hp DOHC four-cylinder engine or a 3.2 Liter, 205 hp DOHC six-cylinder engine. The base transmission is a five-speed manual. A four-speed automatic transmission is optional. The standard Intelligent Suspension Control (ISC) feature improves handling and ride characteristics by automatically adjusting shock compression. Pros: Extra Seating, leather interior, dual heat controls, smooth ride, good gas mileage
Cons: Blind spot passenger front window.
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend the Izusu Ascender, great vehicle, you'll think you're riding in an expensive car. You'll fall in love with your vehicle.
