Worked great for 18 months, then died

Pros: Did what it advertised, low price.
Cons: Died after 18 months
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: It was a great value at first. I liked the sleek form factor, and the USB and Firewire 400 capabilities. But then the drive died after 19 months of use.

Opening the case (which voids the expired warranty) reveals an IDE-to-USB/FW400...
