Short-lived Bliss

Pros: Great suction, hard floor capabilities.
Cons: Utterly shoddy construction--cheap plastic parts snap with frightening frequency. Upholstery tool ineffective.
The Bottom Line: This machine was a money pit, nothing less. Cheap parts, frequent breaks, high replacement costs. If you need a carpet cleaner, find something better than this.

Hoover: Worth every Penny and It Shows

Pros: Trustworthy, reliable, durable, cleans the toughest and dirtiest carpets,easy to use
Cons: big, hand attachment doesn't clean super well, takes up closet space
The Bottom Line: Do you want a clean house and clean carpets?...then buy the Hoover SteamVac Vacumm ...no joke thats the key and bottom line!!

I didn't realize how well this worked until I got a new vacuum

Pros: Good suction, onboard heat, no residue
Cons: Not great suction in attachments
The Bottom Line: It is a lot of work to clean your carpets yourself but if you elect to do so I would recommend this machine.
