Pros: Lower cost gives higher quality in this case, no need for rinse button!

Cons: plastic parts ... but name an appliance these days without any? Huh? Can you?

The Bottom Line: If you need clean carpets this makes the grade. It does what it should without extras to overtax the motor.

Hoover SteamVac V2 Widepath With Auto Rinse F7425900 will withstand 4400 cleanings.

Pros: It works like a charm; lots of easy to use features.

Cons: The long cord (which is also a plus).

Pros: Good dirt lifting ability, clear body verifies operation and looks cool

Cons: Uses water quickly, cleaner migrates to water bowl in storage

The Bottom Line: I recommend the Hoover SteamVac Widepath V2 cleaner based on its good dirt lifting ability, fairly quiet operation, and modern styling.
