Straightforward installation, but much more than the advertised 1 hour.

Pros: Very effective unit, uncomplicated installation. Low maintenance, 5 year warantee.
Cons: Installation can be time consuming. Needs 110 volt outlet and floor drain.
The Bottom Line: If you're in the market for a humidifier I would definitely consider this one. Simple installation, seems to be very effective, expect low maintenance and durability.

Central humidifier works well

Pros: Good documentation/Instructions/Video. High capacity (18 gal/day). Good value.
Cons: Requires installation kit. Takes time/talent to install. Wastes water and needs drain.
The Bottom Line: Seems to be the best out there right now in the chain stores. It should work well for you.

Smell that?!

Pros: Compact in size, easy on the wallet.
Cons: Somewhat noisy, no true "reading" for amount of humidity.
The Bottom Line: Great small in-room system that gives the right amount of white noise, clean air and much needed humidity! Well worth the money.
