Pros Fun, simple, strategy plus luck, nice looking board.
Cons Lost pieces, team formation, may take some time.
Recommended it? Yes

As a kid I played Risk with my friends and my family many times. As an adult I have played it primarily with my boys who are pretty good at it. My husband loves Risk but I am personally not a fan.  It is a long drawn out game.  I would definately recommend it for people who enjoy history and war facts but it is just not something I am into.  We are on our third game because the little pieces keep going missing. Read full review »

The adult board game scene is definitely a niche group, so much so that a popular game hits the mainstream only once every 5 years or so.
