Not up to expectations :-(

Pros: Good price/performance if you can get it home intact

Cons: Overall quality not what I expected, certainly low-cost leader and quality shows

The Bottom Line: This is your choice for lowest cost new freezer just expect quality to reflect it's price. Not for me but perfectly functional

Defective freezer, lost $500 of food and a $200 freezer

Pros: We lost $500 of food and spent $200 on a defective freezer...nothing good to say.

Cons: GE won't stand behind their products.

The Bottom Line: If it works great, if it doesn't GE warranty support is horrible.

Review: This is a great little chest freezer, it doesn't take up to much room and is great to use when you see meats on sale and want to stock up on them. I never had a problem with it and I have had it for 2 years now.
