The first big step up from the SR60, the SR125 are great headphones for home use. The Grado name suggests high quality and great sound, and the SR125 are no exception. They produce a detailed musical presentation, showing off good highs and mids, with tight, controlled bass. Their only downfall is that they tend to be a bit uncomfortable, but this can be remedied by bending the headband around. The SR125 can be used with a portable player or with an amp. Less

by gadlor , Feb 12, 2005
Pros: Awesome clarity, tight bass, reveals depth to music you've never heard before.
Cons: I tend to rub them all over my body, grunting and gyrating.
The Bottom Line: I will hug and love these headphones until the men in suits take me away.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I had long pondered the idea of purchasing a new pair of headphones (or for the hip among us - "cans") since I figured among the price difference between my fifty dollar Sony pair and the high-priced headhuggers of such companies as AKG, Sennheiser,...

Pros: Fast, accurate, revealing, do not require a headphone amplifier
Cons: Expensive, uncomfortable over long periods of time, slightly bright, can be fatiguing.
The Bottom Line: The Bottom Line fondly remembers when Monica Lewinsky was the biggest thing that we had to worry about.
