Pros: Great GPS, too bad the sounder part doesn't work very well. It's real pretty though!
Cons: Non working sounder
Not willing to "do the right thing" and fix this lemon.

Sounder never fully worked. By the time we fisnished messing with it the warranty periord was over. Garmin discontinued this model (wonder why) and now they want more money to fix something that never completely worked in the first place. What a...

Pros: Easy to use, bright, free traffic/construction, etc. updates, 3D maps, natural-sounding text-to-voice, strong reception.
Cons: No AC charger, traffic/lane assist only works in certain places, built-in speaker is too quiet.
The Bottom Line: Great mid-range GPS unit. So easy yo mama can use it.

UPDATE: Caution! Do not make the mistake I did. I bought the Garmin USB charger and when charging the unit engaged the lock key. This kept the display turned on and I let it charge for 8 hours or so...with the display still on by the time I came...

Pros: Compact, bright, MP3 capability, easy to use.
Cons: Limited search capability, insufficient map info displayed, non-replaceable battery, music/alert sound mixing odd.
The Bottom Line: While okay for commuters (maybe for traffic), it is very limited for touring purposes.
