I purchased 2 GARMIN RINO 130's and 6 GARMIN RINO 120's for my swiftwater rescue team. I purchased these for several reasons.

Pros Feature-packed, professional equipment, accurate, compact
Cons Expensive, somewhat durable, short battery life, had some compatibility issues
Recommended it? Yes

I carried a GPS and a two-way radio around a lot when I did a bunch of solo work out in the woods. I became mindful of the extra weight and need to carry extra batteries when many times I would rarely use either one. I also had problems using my radios in wet environments.
