Cons: The maps get a little cluttered in urban areas
The Bottom Line: IF YOU WANT A LIGHTWEIGHT ACCURATE GPS THAT CAN DOWNLOAD MAPS AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE GET IT

Until I got this unit I had owned a Magellan. It was a second generation generic GPS.
At the time it was a pretty advanced unit (1996). It was finally time to upgrade and the
options of the newer GPS units took a bit of education.

Pros: Price, ease of hand held use, uncomplicated
Cons: Aging technology, battery life, antenna sensitivity
The Bottom Line: If you do not need an audio prompted, turn-by-turn hand hold to your destination, you could save with this older technology
