KRUPS Electric Burr Grinder GVX1 ~ Does Not Get the Job Done

Pros: 17 settings from fine to coarse, max of 12 cups, easy to use

Cons: plastic can be clingy and hard to clean

The Bottom Line: The Krups Electric Burr Grinder GVX1 is a nice grinder compared to others we have owned but is not fun to clean and doesn't always function properly.

Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: Large and bulky; beans consistently get stuck in feeder

Review: I had high hopes for this Krups machine but ended up returning it after 3 days. The beans consistently failed to feed into the burr grinder, requiring the whole contraption to be shaken to get the beans into the feeder.

Great automatic grinder with extra capacity and hands-free operation

Pros: Easy to get consistent grind quality, hands-free operation, good cord control.

Cons: None really. This is the best "cheap" (under $100) grinder I've ever used.

The Bottom Line: Highly recommended, especially if you grind more than one pot's worth of coffee at a time, or want hands-free operation.
