Yes, it works fine

Pros: No complaints about washing action, because it is better than the old one.
Cons: No latch problems if you install this dishwasher properly.
The Bottom Line: Washes well, reasonably quiet, holds plenty, and is relatively inexpensive.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I bought a GLD2250RDB3 with a black door panel ( which is the same as the dishwasher with the stainless door panel ) as a replacement for a Kenmore ( really a rebranded Whirlpool) which was about 8 years old.

Cons: - Poor construction
- Non-existant customer service
- Few authorized service centers
