Has muscle, but no smarts

Pros: Major Cooling Power, Fairly quiet compared to our old one
Cons: Energy hog, Poor Design, Runs a lot.
The Bottom Line: Only buy this product if you are planning to sell your home soon or don't care how much your electric bill is

Review: This product does a great job of cooling, but is a power hog. When in the "Energy Saver Mode", it runs every three minutes to determine the air temperature. That's about 75,000 on/off cycles in a season, for sensing alone. If during this cycle, the...

Life's NOT SO Good

Pros: Great when it actually works
Cons: Requires frequent repairs / Customer service horrible
The Bottom Line: Run, Run just as fast as you can! Almost anything would be better than LG.

Review:
My unit was manufactured December 2005. It carries a 5 year warranty. It is now 7-2009 which means the unit is still under warranty till 12-2010. I have lost my receipt and cannot prove when I purchased the unit. I understand that LG needs it...
