When we were thinking of what finishes we would want (in addition to chrome) we tried to think of other products out in the world that are made of hard core metal with big rivets well as you can see this flat army green finish looks just like the old school army helmets and other gear from back in the 30's and 40's.The powder coated finishes on Normandy guitars are applied using a special "baked-on" finish that is electro-statically bonded to the guitar bodies.
