Very simple game where you chose your person(green, blue, red or yellow) then start on the candy land path to reach the end. Settlers of Catan was the first of the modern crop of mostly German, mostly awesome board games that I ever played. A friend of mine got it, and I was skeptical at first, but after a few plays, I just wanted more and more of it all the time.
