Need for Speed Underground 2 - Pimp My Ride and Take It for a Spin

Pros: 30 licensed cars, Xbox Live compatible, hundreds of cool upgrades to tinker with

Cons: disappointing soundtrack, open-ended gameplay becomes tedious

The Bottom Line: Need for Speed Underground 2 tries to emulate the Grand Theft Auto formula. It doesn't succeed but everything else does.

Need For Speed: Underground 2 - Playing catch-up

Pros: Beautifully detailed city, nice cars, many upgrades

Cons: Boring gameplay, lifeless city, Brooke Burke uses her voice. Nothing new

The Bottom Line: Not as good a sim as Forza, and not as arcadey fun as Burnout 3. So where does that leave it?
