467 - Is that the Price or the Decibel Level?

Pros: Powerful suction, medium weight, good maneuverability, amazing warranty
Cons: High decibel noise is annoying, cord could be longer, upholstery cleaning tool isn't the best
The Bottom Line: Despite the noise, I am impressed with the amount of dirt my Dyson picks up from bare floors and carpet. Don't pay full price--I got 20% off with a coupon.

Dyson DC18 Vacuum: Slim (And It Makes Vacuuming Fun)!

Pros: continuous suction, "The Ball", telescoping wand handle, accessories store on the vacuum
Cons: still heavier than I'd prefer at 15.8 pounds
The Bottom Line: Dyson delivers with the DC18 Slim! It's smaller than the other upright models but that provides added maneuverability and less weight to drag about.
