Pros: Light-weight; easy to use; 4.0 megapixel; reasonably priced.
Cons: Touchy mode dial; included AA batteries and 16mb FlashCard a joke.
The Bottom Line: The Minolta DiMAGE S404 is a terrific, reasonably priced, light-weight, easy to use, point and shoot 4.0 megapixel digital camera. Try one out!

Pros: Great camera and beautiful pix (especially in daylight) for the price
Cons: Some peculiarities plus questionable reliability (see afterword)
The Bottom Line: One heck of a camera for the price, but not without drawbacks

First and of foremost importance, the image quality is really excellent, especially those take in daylight. Flash images are good too, but they don't have the impact of the daylight images. On a computer, you can zoom right in and the images still...

Pros: Versatility, ergonomics, long zoom and battery life, fast startup and operation, excellent color, sharp.
Cons: No low light focus assist, no microphone, vulnerable card slot.
The Bottom Line: This camera is probably overlooked by many first time digital camera shoppers. Look closer! Both enthusiasts and beginners can really take pleasure in the affordable and versatile Minolta DiMAGE Z20.
