"Sticking" it to myself.

Pros: Handles weight of DSLR and HD camcorder well; solid feel; comes w/quick release plate.
Cons: heavier than expected; perhaps not good for backpacking, (though it adds to pod's stability).
The Bottom Line: suits my needs fine. If looking for a double-duty monopod, consider this one. It's pricier than many, perhaps a bit heavy, but I feel I got what I paid for.
