Cobra CXR900 FRS/GMRS radio review.

Pros: Battery life, smart charger. Full-featured.

Cons: could have better scan function.

The Bottom Line:

All in all a great radio. I suggest, though, to have
the scan mode automatically detect CTCSS/DCS tones in the main scan, and let you lock out
channels during the scan.

Pros: Phenominal battery life.

Cons: No scan lockouts. Do not meet manufacturer's range claims, due to marketing hype.

The Bottom Line:

Good radios. Of course, corporate marketing hype inflates range claims; but realistically, they do well at what they are designed for.
