Standard equipment include the Passlock Theft-Deterrent System which disables the vehicle from starting for ten minutes if an invalid key is used. The interior features front bucket seats, air conditioning and Scotchgard protection. The optional Homelink 3-Channel Transmitter can memorize the activation codes for up to three remote control devices such as the garage door or security lights. The exterior features an improved etch-resistant clearcoat paint that helps reduce damage caused by water-spotting, acid rain and environmental etch. Available in two models, 2WD and AWD, the Astro Passenger Van enters this model year with several changes. The standard automatic transmission receives a tow/haul feature, while the 4.3L V-6 engine gains enhanced engine performance and fuel economy. Two new exterior colors are Pewter and Dark Toreador Red. As always, the Astro Passenger Van is equipped with many safety features including child seat tether anchors, a child safety lock on the sliding door, and a theft deterrent system. A new seven-tumbler key cylinder has been added in order to provide greater security. Pros: Great pickup for a van its size, roomy, 80,000 km with no major problems

Cons: Gas milage, far from sexy, not easy to park

The Bottom Line: This is a family van; why someone would by this car who doesn't have a family boggles the mind. I recommend this van.
