Cons EXPENSIVE. Heavy. Really stands out.

This lens is HUGE. This lens is HEAVY. But- With a zoom range from 28mm-300mm, you are pretty well covered!

Pros The expansive zoom range, the IS, & its surprisingly fast auto focus
Cons In my opinion there's no cons associated with this lens.
Recommended it? Yes

I use a Canon 1D Mark II, a 10D, & a newly acquired 40D for all around photography. My lens inventory include a Canon 50mm f/1.4, 16-35mm f/2.8L, 28-70mm f/2.8L, 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS, 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS, 70-200mm F/2.8L IS, 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 IS, & a Sigma 50-500 f/4-6.3.
