Pros: Super wide angle. Pretty resistant to flare. Sharp. Takes standard thickness UV filter.
Cons: Costs more than it ought. Needs thin circular polarizer. No hood included. Chromatic aberration.
The Bottom Line: Great for landscapes, dramatic perspectives. If you need it immediately, it's worth the high price. If not, wait for price drop.

A Superwide that gives DSLR users a true wide angle view

Pros: Great distortion control, solid build quality, very sharp.
Cons: A bit expensive for some, but well worth the cost of admission for the flexibility.
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this lens for the Canon shooter that uses a cropped frame DSLR. It will restore the true wide angle shot to your toolbox.
