The Canon SX20is will always have a special place in my heart, it is the camera who made me fall in love with photography. Be warned though it is a gateway camera to bigger more expensive things.

Panasonic's FZ47 is the leader model in their bridge camera line up. I decided to go with this model instead of the feature laden higher end FZ150, for my needs I simply couldn't justify the substantial price differential between the two.
