Pros Easy interface, beautiful renderings, fully customizable. 
Cons Could use more zoom, but different lenses can be purchased for distant shots.  
Recommended it? Yes

I recently purchased the Canon REBEL T2i / EOS for a family vacation to niagara falls.  I have never owned a professional camera beforehand so I figured it would be difficult to learn but it was really simple.  Beautiful pictures, ample shot settings, and quick changing to different style...
