If you can only afford one lens for your new EOS get this one.....

Pros: Good "walk-around" lens. IS system, sharp, full time manual focus. USM lens motor.
Cons: Heavy, IS eats batteries, 72mm filters are expensive, pricey
The Bottom Line: If you can only get one lens consider this one. While expensive, the IS system is worth the extra money.
