Its cheap (well, as cheap as an SLR can be) and doesn't pack the punch of some of the models higher up in the food chain like the 600D. I had a similar cannon to this one ,I left it on a plane ,not happy since it was pricy for me,I lived without it for 2 years,I got a different camera,But I never like the pictures as well,So I had to go back to this one,It takes some playing withto figure out all the fuctions
