If you need the second battery this is a worthwhile accessory

Pros: Vertical controls, Extra power for IS lenses, AA adapter
Cons: Plastic! Expensive, cheaper to buy a few more batteries on ebay.
The Bottom Line: Buy this if you use IS lenses a lot. Physically big, some camera bags won't hold the camera with it installed.

Canon battery grip for 20D not so hot

Pros: Vertical shutter release, Aperture/Shutter Speed dial.
Cons: Makes camera klunky. Not a solid attachment. Weighs body down. $350 Can. way too much.
The Bottom Line: I don't recommend it. Too expensive for what it actually gives you.
