Pros well made, excellent fit, little break in time

When I went to buy hiking boots I tried on 10-15 different pairs, and these were the only pair that really fit me. I have a narrow heel, and a wide toe area, so usually when they fit in the toe, they will slip in the heel and give me blisters. The salesman at the hiking boot place told me that this... Pros Vibram soles. Crampon compatible. Gortex waterproof. Rubberized protection over toe-box.
Cons Nubuck suede is a little fragile.
Recommended it? Yes

The Montrail Torre GTX's are the first substantial backpacking/hiking boots I have purchased. Previously I have used a couple of different Hi-Tech models. I am more than satisfied as to the performance of the Montrail Torre GTX boot.
