If you plan on frying, get this, else, don't.

Pros: Easy to Clean Durable Charcoal/Wood
Cons: Wastes gas. No crawfish anytime soon.
The Bottom Line: If you fry, buy! If not, check out the smoke'n'grill series. This one wastes gas and can use the better half a tank for a smoking project.

Works great for a small smoker

Pros: Price, extensive list of accessories thru Brinkmann, easy to use, smokes well
Cons: Size (a little too small), touchy regulator-mounted gas control knob, no ignitor

Review: While specifically looking for a gas smoker, I found this unit on clearance at Sears for $69. Setting it up was easy, except there was no quick-connect collar on the gas line, so I had to use a wrench.
