Yes
I haven't written a "book report" in many years; always hated to do so. Never understood that imagery business and this really means that and there are seven levels of meaning to this and so on. Just say what you mean.
But it gives me great pleasure to write about "Flags of our Fathers"...

As has been said by many: The value of a book, especially in the genre of fantasy, is measured by its believability.
It's not great because of the imaginations of the author. It's great DESPITE the initial incredulity of fantastic circumstances that make up the story.
