Change is necessary?

Pros: CHEAP, fast, stable, easy to build with
Cons: Micro-ATX (could be a plus, also, I guess), user's manual contains no OS install information
The Bottom Line: For socket 478, look no further. You have found the right motherboard.

Works for me

Pros: Inexpensive. Generally works well.
Cons: Older tech, so lower speed AGP and limited to 2 GB RAM.

Review: Running one now for over 18 months. First with a Celeron D, then with a HT P4. Started w/ 1 GB RAM, upgraded to 2. Use an ATI 9550 AGP video card. Windows XP, Ubuntu/Debian dual boot. Three hard disks (2 IDE, 1 SATA), 2 DVD's (one ROM, one burner)...
