With a 2000:1 contrast ratio at 1,500 ANSI lumens and SVGA resolution, the PB6100 gives you more. The PB6100 also utilizes proprietary BenQ video-processing technology to support the latest DLP(tm) chip set from Texas Instruments. It is HDTV-compatible (480p, 720p and 1080i) with direct YPbPr/component (through VGA port), S-Video and composite video inputs. Pros: Amazing 80" image Cost (why spend $1000's on a 40" TV?)
Cons: Could use slightly more comprehensive menu items
The Bottom Line: For the money, you can't do better! Highly recomended

3 year report: solid performer but getting dim

Pros: Low cost, bright image (when new), good color fidelity, reliable and quiet
Cons: Requires professional installation and calibration to fully appreciate
The Bottom Line: I can definitely recommend BENQ projectors for home theatre. However as with any projector, get it professionally installed and calibrated to fully appreciate it.
