Pros: Sounds a million dollars
Cons: Picked up on some camcorders wide angle, feels cheap. 1 channel output.
The Bottom Line: Try it on the cam first, check your wide angle. If it's ok it'll be one of the best bits of kit you buy.

piece of garbage

Pros: Well, I thought the brand name would be. I was wrong.
Cons: That it's worthless. How's that for a start?

Review: NOT for serious sound recording. The mini cable is hardwired (poorly) into the mic itself so expect maybe a few hours of recording time before it wears out and starts to fail... kind of like that crappy pair of headphones that used to come free with...

A good starter shotgun mic

Pros: A big improvement over built-in sound; good accessories
Cons: Some noise and hum audible
The Bottom Line: A good entry-level shotgun mic, and a big step up from the built-in sound on your camcorder
