I Think I?ll Watch A Little TV Tonight

Pros: Good picture, fully featured, small size.
Cons: Erratic antenna reception, not portable when viewing, small remote buttons, 2-hour battery life.
The Bottom Line: The HLT71 is fine as an occasional use stationary digital TV with a good picture and a full set of features, but has erratic antenna reception.

Works As Well As Digital Technology Will Allow

Pros: Excellent picture, good audio, small size, easy to use, replaceable battery, sleep timer.
Cons: The included antenna is useless, cannot scan to only add new channels.
The Bottom Line: You need a powerful antenna to pull in digital signals. The portable antenna included won't cut it. This Haier TV is good. Digital technology is not.

Great emergency tv with one exception...

Pros: Easy to set up, inexpensive, excellent picture, good sound, easy to scan for channels.
Cons: Must recharge after 2 hours of use, cannot recharge via cigarette lighter w/o invertor.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend buying this unit until better technology comes out to replace it. It provides a clear picture, extra antenna, and good sound at a reasonable price.
