At first the Philips Avent Baby Monitor seemed like an excellent monitor. A DECT monitor from a reputable brand was what I was looking for, and for as long as it worked, it was pretty good.
After about a year though, the receiving unit suddenly stopped holding a charge, and would silently fail... Read full review »

I bought the Avent Baby Monitor withDECT Technology for my new baby, so that I'd be able to hear and respond to her as soon as she wakes up when I'm not in the room.  It has excellent sound clarity.
