Pros: makes documents unrecognizable

Cons: top heavy, awkward to move around

The Bottom Line: Machine is good for everyday use in home. Not good for home business with frequent use do to changing wastes, not taking envelopes, and 10 sheet max.

Review: I bought the Aurora Cross Cut Paper and CD Shredder in January of this year at Bed Bath and Beyond. It has worked pretty well since then, having its pros and cons.

The machine it self is obviously the size of a waste barrel and fits easily...

I'm hooked on shredding! This little unit is fine for home use.

Pros: Compact, inexpensive, shreds well, good for home use, auto off

Cons: No ON button, not for heavy use, shreds four pages, not eight, noisy

The Bottom Line: The Aurora Electronics AS890C Shredder is inexpensive and works well for home use. It's small but performs well for light to medium shredding needs.

how many sheets does your shreder shred?

Pros: up to 8 sheets of paper, one credit card, staples, and paperclips.

Cons: starts to growl when trying to shred more than four pieces of paper
