Not a recorder, but good portable player

Pros: Picture is good Sound could be better Dual Headphones USB Port easy

Cons: Sound bad on airplane No low battery warning Won't play .WMV files

The Bottom Line: Easy to use, nice size screen. Sound average or above. With Headphones sounds excellent--Plane has a lot of ambient noise which may hamper sound.

Review: I have the D1917 and as far as I know, it's NOT a recorder, but a Portable DVD and MP3 player. I did an average amount of research, only about a weeks worth. Once I saw the 9 inch screens, I didn't want to go smaller than that. And I'm very happy...
