Pros Great music player, great appearance, many features, simlar to iphone
Cons Bad camera quality, some missing features that differ from an iphone, easily broken
Recommended it? Yes

I bought a 4th generation ipod touch in placement of my phone. I couldn't afford my own phone so instead I used the ipod touch to make calls and texts over wireless internet, and it works just as well and an iphone.
