Pros: Extremely compact and lightweight, choice of colours, excellent battery life, sharp display, intuitive user interface
Cons: No protective casing, software not bundled, supplied earphones are at most below average.
The Bottom Line: Having flash memory, unlike iPod video which is hard drive based, it is by far the most durable iPod one can buy for music on the go!

Pros: slim, stylish, holds plenty of songs, easy navigation, lots of features
Cons: not for video or big storage needs
The Bottom Line: More stylish than the iPod, and a lot smaller, this holds more than enough songs to meet your needs, but won't give you video.

I bought my daughter one of these for her 16th birthday, thinking it was a chic little gift - pink, slim and iconic. In doing so, I debated about the price since, for $50 more, I could have gotten her a full-fledged iPod with 30GB of storage.
