Pros: Better compact design; addresses the weakening cable issue...
Cons: ... however, the cable will still fray if proper care is not taken
The Bottom Line: The Apple AC Adapter for MacBook Pro is a huge step up from the mushroom design. now it doesn't feel like I'm using a Smurf house to power my laptop.

AC Adapter for A Mac Book Pro

Pros: one year warranty. Nice people in the Apple store at The Grove, Beverly Hills, Ca.
Cons: House Burning down, the same thing happen two times, the cost of $79.99
The Bottom Line: You need the Adapter, follow the simple suggestions that I have given and you will only have to replace the Adapter every 2-3 years instead of every 6 Months.

Review: The biggest complaint I have is a very expensive one. I have had to replace the adapter 2 times in the last 6 Months because the cord at the connection point has burned up!! Thank God my house did'nt Burn down. It is frustrating to have to spend...
