Remember those small but powerful pocket-rockets of the early 90's? Fun cars but economic good times ruled them out. I can't help but wonder if the same thing will happen to the category in which the Acura RSX competes. Times are changing and somehow those wedge-shape coupes seem redundant in a market that craves Scions at one end and Chrysler 300 Hemis at the other. Less

With its sleek, sporty styling, the new 2005 Acura TSX is highly contemporary, yet a timeless masterwork, designed to endure well into the future. Its 200-hp i-VTEC® engine accelerates smoothly in any gear and engine speed through either a close-ratio 6-speed manual or a 5-speed Sequential SportShift with Grade Logic Control automatic transmission. Its outstanding handling and agility is due partly to the engine's lightweight materials. There is also an abundance of luxury amenities and innovative safety features that add to this dynamic sports car's remarkable performance, craftsmanship and style. Less

Acura RSX-- What's all this hype-S about anyway?

by shoplmart , May 26, 2005
Pros: Engine, Seats, Appearance, 6-speed manual,
Cons: How about 50 more horsepower and a 9,000 RPM redline :p
The Bottom Line: The RSX is a refined sports coupe that is recommended to anyone looking for an affordable combination of luxury, style, and performance.

Review: When Acura introduced its 3rd generation Integra, I was not convinced that it was worthy of its high sticker price, especially in its performance trim levels. Cars like the Integra Type-R and the GSR were quick and very fun to drive, but only...

Acura TSX - As good as the BMW 3 Series?

by shoplmart , Aug 27, 2005
Pros: Value, performance, interior, exterior, 6-speed manual.
Cons: Engine could use about 20 more ponies and 20 lb-ft of torque
The Bottom Line: A competent offering from Acura, I recommend the TSX 100%
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: When the TSX made its debut in late 2003 I wasn't exactly thrilled that it would be sporting around a naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engine. Japanese entry level sport sedans equipped with 4-cylinder engines have generally offered bland performance,...

One Sporty Car!

by PEDIT , Oct 20, 2005
Pros: Styling, workmanship, handling, fuel economy, durability, NAV. Safety
Cons: bumpy ride, premium fuel, noisy trunk, dimmer control location, weak lumbar support
The Bottom Line: This car hits all the points what a great car should be. I am extremely pleased I purchased this car. Would I do it again, yes!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I've owned the TSX for 2 months now and here are my observations.
Advantages: Pleasant on the eyes, styling, fit, workmanship are exemplarily. Nothing really feels cheap. I get the same feeling of fit and finish as if I sat in a Acura RL...
