Pros Compact, lightweight, relatively quiet, power control literally at your fingertips.
Cons Weak suction, flimsy, many petty annoyances.
Recommended it? No

Earlier this year we were given a lot of household items by an elderly friend who was going into a retirement home.  He no longer needed many of his tools and appliances.  One of the items we accepted was the Kenmore Magic Blue vacuum cleaner.  With our two storey home, I thought it might be handy... Pros Great suction power, retractable cord, price.
Cons Short life, bad parts/accessories design.

I purchased this vacuum for $99 from Sears for my small house for use on hardwood floors, tile floors, and a few rugs. For the first 6-8 months, it worked great. The suction power is truly amazing. But, then the problems began.
