USELESS!!!

Date of Review: Jul 26, 2009

The Bottom Line:  DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!  MINE IS GOING BACK MONDAY FOR SOMETHING THAT ACTUALLY COVERS THE CLOTHES WITH WATER.  I HEAR WATER HELPS GET THEM CLEAN....GEEZ.  WHAT WERE THAY THINKING??????
I've only had this washer a few days now, and tried to give it the benefit of the doubt....but now I'm sure this washer is useless.  It doesnt take a scientist to realize if you're clothes aren't getting wet, they are not getting clean.  How can they engineer something that goes through the whole wash cycle without even moving the clothes around and having a whole 6-10 inches of dry clothes laying on top when it starts to go into rinse mode??  The only reason they come out wet at all is because in rinse mode it spins while spraying water on them.  So what you're left with are wet, dirty clothes!!!  And don't get me started anout the "soak" mode.  How are you supposed to soak a large load of clothes or your comfortor in 8, maybe 10 inches of water??  This washer is a joke.  Not to mention, from other reviews I've read, it has the same problem of the motor going out within the 1st year or 2 which cost about as much as the washer did to replace.  Also the ideal of not having an agitator was appealing for it gave you lots of extra room.  Well, be assured that the room comes with a price.  This washer hardly moves around your clothes at all.  I tried a small load to test it when the water atcually DID cover the clothes and all the clothes were exactly as I left them.  If there's a sock on top, I expect it to be swished around and somewhere on bottom and around again.  Not with this one.  Was not good at stain removal.  I liked my old style washer much better.  From what I've read, I'm not alone!  Worry about saving your money, not water when you think about buying this machine!!!  BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!
